Yesterday a candle was blown out on earth. My dear Grandmother also affectionately known by my siblings and me as 'Big Mama'..went home to meet God.

She lived, loved and did her thing and we thank God for giving her 90 years here on earth..

I love you Big Mama and I'm going to miss you..

Baby~Girl Graduates

I am so late in posting this..but I just want to let all who reads, that our daughter has graduated from New Testament Christian Seminary on June 10, 2011. Her Dad and I are so happy for her and our love and prayers go out to her from the bottom of our hearts..

Shorty had Surgery

Well Shorty had to have surgery yesterday, the 11th. She needed to have some arteries in her heart unblocked..and I am so thankful to say that it was successful and that she's up and about right now by the Grace of God who by His mercies brought her through, Amen and amen. This little woman will be celebrating 72 years on the 20th of this month and believe you me, she will have something to celebrate. We, my siblings and I, will be blessed to have our Mother (Shorty to me) around as long as God sees fit and we are so very thankful for her...

Time for Birthday celebrations..

My older sister is celebrating on the 15th, my husband is celebrating his birthday on the 17th, his sister 18th, my older Brother is celebrating on the 20th, my daughter is celebrating on the 26th and I have a nephew celebrating his birthday on the 31st..

Here's to all of the January celebrants family and friends alike. Have a God blessed, safe and happy birthday from me to you..

Wow..!! February is here and almost gone. I have a cousin who will be 29 this month and my good looking baby Brother who celebrated on the 18th of this month and of course we all like to celebrate St. Valentine, a day for friends and couples alike those like to celebrate love. I celebrated my 25th Wedding anniversary on the 15th and I am looking forward to celebrating my 50th on the 28th..Happy Birthday to me..!!! and here is to all those family and friends alike Happy, Happy Birthday..love and God Bless.

Happy Birthday to all of you March celebrants. To begin, my Mother, who I affectionately call 'Shorty' will be 72 on the 20th by the grace of God..my Aunt and Grandmother celebrant on the same day which falls on the 11th. My dear Sister in Law will be celebrating on the 14th, one of our church members will be celebrating on the 17th, again, Happy Birthday to all of you God blessed and wonderful celebrants..!!!

Here we are in April and I must say time sure flies when you're having fun and God is so totally blessing. Happy Birthday to my beautiful Sister Criss who will be celebrating on the 14th of this month and also to my lovely niece Melissia will be celebrating on the 26th of this month as well. There is also a little one in our church who will be turning the big "2" this month as well, he's one adorable and cute little boy..so happy birthday to all of you, family and friends alike who will be celebrating this month and God bless you always and forever as you remember to put first and foremost in your lives..

Here we are in June and my Mother-in-law who is celebrating today, June 12th, happy birthday to our twin Sons, Sean and Shannon, who will be celebrating, by the Grace of God on the 18th of this month 29 years as well, there is also a member of the church here who shares the same birth date as our sons, here's to you Bro. Franklin.

July has come and gone and our nation celebrated on the 4th the birth of our independence..and our family celebrated the 28Th birthday of my nephew on the 23rd..so Happy Birthday to my my nephew and God Bless America..!

August is here and it's time B'day shout outs. Happy birthda to some Family members and Friends..Crista, my niece, she turned 9 on 22Nd, Qui'Anna who turned 30 on the 17Th and also some of our Church members who celebrated life this month..here's to all of you and God bless you and keep you to celebrate another year..Happy Birthday!!

Okay, the month of September is here with just a few birthday celebrations and a heart felt memorial..happy birthday to my dear friend Lorna..who was born on a day that all of America will never forget..September 11Th, so Happy Birthday my friend and God Bless America!! Remember her fallen, those that fell on the home front on on 9/11..the innocent, the brave and the Finest..Amen

Now we are so into October..this month someone near and dear to me, my baby sister will be celebrating on the 24Th of this month and a a handful of the church members have celebrated as well..so I wish them all a very happy and blessed life, thanking God that you have seen another year in which to celebrate your lives and that you are blessed with many more by His grace and mercy..so Happy Birthday!!

November..the month the festive holiday season begin. I am thankful for my Grandmother who actually passed away this month and went home to meet with the Lord, she was a beautiful woman, she lived her life and did her thing..

My handsome Dad celebrates 73 years this month on the 15Th and a very nice and young one in the church celebrated as well..So, this month is truly a month for celebrating life, given and taken. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone..!

December is upon us already..Wow!! My beautiful niece celebrates this month on the 2Nd, my handsome nephew will be celebrating on the 30Th. Let's not forget who it is we celebrate most of all, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.. I celebrate my Lord always and forever, not just during the Holiday Season..So to all of you December celebrants..( Jesus being first and foremost) Happy Birthday..!

The words to this song has been coming into my mind lately. My dear baby sister has lost her husband this week and someone else we know has passed on, with all the others who have gone on in the past few months, it's sad to know that these loved ones have gone on without God's blessed assurance...

So that is why the words to this song 'Only One Life..' comes to my mind. My prayers go out especially for my Sister for the loss of her Husband of 15+ years and the families of those who have lost loved ones themselves..
