Bridging Gaps

Is it possible to bridge a gap among family? It should be right?? I find it harder among family, much easier for a camel to go through the eye of an needle than for family to quit bickering among themselves and holding grudges that go waaaayyyy back when, much easier to find a needle in a haystack than for family to let bygones to be bygones..while one tries to bridge a gap, the other one is building a wall..if only family can go forward, forgive and forget there would be no need to bridge a gap or tear down a wall..I pray that families come together and be just that, family..

Mother's Day

What a wonderful day it was..I am thankful that my oldest Son from Virginia was here and I got beautiful cards from his twin brother in Virginia and all of my grandkids..a beautiful bouquet from my daughter and her husband and I had a very nice dinner and flowers from the honey-man..all in all I had a wonderfully blessed day and I hope all the mothers nationwide had a blessed day as well. Love and God bless you all..

Whew..been a while!

It has truly been a good minute since my last post. To start off, I thank God for another day, let alone another year. I had a wonderful time visiting my family and hanging out with my sisters and brothers and our parents and nieces and nephews. The next week we were at our church conference in MO and it was a wonderful blessing, singing and praising God and all of the wonderful fellowship. I will post more and update some things as I go along, so in the meantime, be blessed and enjoy Family..!!

Yesterday a candle was blown out on earth. My dear Grandmother also affectionately known by my siblings and me as 'Big Mama'..went home to meet God.

She lived, loved and did her thing and we thank God for giving her 90 years here on earth..

I love you Big Mama and I'm going to miss you..

Baby~Girl Graduates

I am so late in posting this..but I just want to let all who reads, that our daughter has graduated from New Testament Christian Seminary on June 10, 2011. Her Dad and I are so happy for her and our love and prayers go out to her from the bottom of our hearts..

Congrats !! Baby~Girl..stay faithful and true to the will of God concerning you.

Remembering even These..

Dear God help us to continue on in a more humble state of mind and being and not let hatred be the guiding force in our lives and hearts, help us to remember that all things in Heaven above and on the Earth below was created by your Wonderful Hands and help us to continue to be faithful to that which the United States of America was founded upon, '..what thus sayeth the word of God..' Amen and Amen~

Shorty had Surgery

Well Shorty had to have surgery yesterday, the 11th. She needed to have some arteries in her heart unblocked..and I am so thankful to say that it was successful and that she's up and about right now by the Grace of God who by His mercies brought her through, Amen and amen. This little woman will be celebrating 72 years on the 20th of this month and believe you me, she will have something to celebrate. We, my siblings and I, will be blessed to have our Mother (Shorty to me) around as long as God sees fit and we are so very thankful for her...

The words to this song has been coming into my mind lately. My dear baby sister has lost her husband this week and someone else we know has passed on, with all the others who have gone on in the past few months, it's sad to know that these loved ones have gone on without God's blessed assurance...

So that is why the words to this song 'Only One Life..' comes to my mind. My prayers go out especially for my Sister for the loss of her Husband of 15+ years and the families of those who have lost loved ones themselves..
